Runs Large!
I absolutely adored this dress! I was so excited to get it and ordered in XXS (I am 5’1”) and sadly it is way too large. Hits right at my knees, neckline falls too low and is baggy on me. I am so sad because I read such great reviews about this dress but unfortunately is not the ideal dress for us short gals as it runs very large.
A Closet Staple
The pros: I love the cut of this dress. It is so flattering, and can be dressed up or down. The tan strip is perfect for transitioning to fall, and will be cute in the spring with light pink accessories! The cons: I love Tuckernuck, and I’ve purchased several different style dresses, and every. single. one is tight in the arms and chest. I am small chested (b cup on a good day) and my arms are like weak spaghetti noodles. I am definitely pear shaped and still have this problem with Tuckernuck dresses. If I size up, the dress is too large every where else. No one likes to feel like a button is pulling at their chest, so this dress wouldn’t work for anyone above a B cup unless they size up. Please, Tnuck, address this problem with the chest and arm sizing. I already love your clothes but this would elevate them far beyond that!
Wear-anywhere style
The collar on this just elevates the style so much. So cute! I have athletic shoulders, and this is just right but almost too small across my chest and shoulders yet big everywhere else. So, if you've got a more "normally balanced" frame, I'd size down.
Super easy and cute!
What a great spin on a classic shirt dress! The sleeves are really cute and i love the tan stripe! So so comfortable but also chic and put together. It'll transition well into fall. I'm a size 4 and love how the small fits.
Beautiful Christmas dress!
Beautiful dress, I love that I'll be able to wear in winter, spring and fall! Comfortable and I received lots of compliments. For reference I'm 5.6 and 135 lbs and I got this dress in a small.
Almost In Love
This dress is absolutely gorgeous, no doubt about it, and totally flattering on. BUT...the seems inside are not well done, they are scratchy and haven't softened with multiple washes and wears. Also, the dress is completely see-through so I have to wear a full slip as not to be exposed under florescent lighting (at work, because that's the only place I go now COVID). I really want to love this dress but I'm uncomfortable when wearing it so I end up fidgeting in it every time. I would say to use better stitching material and a bit thicker fabric. I am hoping that those changes will be made and lots of pattern options added because it such a lovely shape and great fit!
