“ Nantucket is not your average beach trip; of course it has a plethora of relaxing beaches, but the best way to truly understand the beauty of this island is to make an effort to interact with nature. Our activity of choice this weekend was early morning clamming. It’s fun for all ages and being able to catch your dinner is so rewarding. ”
“ Topper's is a renowned restaurant located on a remote part of Nantucket. We trek out there once a year as a family and marvel at the gorgeous sunsets and spectacular food. ”
“ Summer is all about fresh fruit and vegetables. July is prime for strawberries and Bartlett's Farm makes it easy to pick these juicy treats. Go to the farm store and ask for crates then head out back to their strawberry fields. Top it off with an ice cream cone from their stand. The toppings are all homemade. ”
“ No flowers, no problem. Everywhere you look something is in bloom and you can’t help but be inspired around every corner. We love fresh cut arrangements every evening. ”
“ In our family, you always have to eat what you catch. We all pitch in to create fun and delicious meals that feature all our bounty, including the gorgeous flower arrangements. ”
“ Jack + Charlie’s is a newer ice cream spot in town that has creative flavors. We love enjoying s’mores in the homemade waffle cones while checking out the boats in the harbor. ”
“ Hidden all over the island are incredible walking trails that lead you deep into preserves. You stumble upon the most majestic views and sunsets along the way. We walk Tupancy Links daily with Murphy. It’s a peaceful way to begin or end the day. ”
“ I hope you enjoyed my little window into Nantucket. Here are a few more candid's from the weekend. Cheers! Jocelyn ”
