BUYING COORDINATOR

As an early member of the core Tuckernuck team, you will be an integral part of shaping the growth of a fast-growing e-commerce business. We strive to deliver a product that is rich in quality and discovery. As a member of the Buying team, you will help shape the Tuckernuck brand and customer experience by initiating the product life cycle and participating in decisions surrounding quality, style and our product offering.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Provide operational support to the buying and production teams.

● Execute Buyers’ orders start to finish: Create products in excel and import to RetailOps (inventory management system).Enter purchase orders and reorders, on-order follow up. Communicate with vendors regarding shipments & sample status. Reconcile and file POs.

● Follow through on return-to-vendor records.

● Organize and create all market notes pre and post trade show: Create and compile market prep and organize for the buying team in advance of trade shows. Organize all notes post show. Maintain and update all information pertaining to completed buys.

● Communicate across departments to maintain studio and editorial sample deliverables.

● Manage all office samples: Inspect and receive inventory arriving to the studio. Prep inventory entering the studio, including steaming and labeling. Inspect and repackage inventory from office to send to Tuckernuck Warehouse or to the vendor.

● Be willing and eager to take on additional tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
