1. What is the Tuckernuck Private Sample Sale?

Every year, we hold a highly anticipated sample sale in the Washington D.C. area. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, the event is unable to take place in-person this year. But… since you can’t come to us, we’re coming to YOU. We’re moving the sale online and making it bigger than ever before!The sale will feature over 1000 styles all 50-85% off. It will include first-hand inventory and styles in all sizes. Quantities are limited so make sure to checkout quickly! You don’t want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity.

2. When is the Sample Sale?

The private sample sale will take place on from Tuesday, January 26th to Wednesday, January 27th. If you sign up for both email and texts from us here, you’ll be the first to be notified on Tuesday that the sale is live. (p.s. be on the lookout for a text between 8-9 AM EST!)

3. What is the virtual line?

When you navigate to there is a chance you will be placed in a virtual line. If the number of people trying to shop our sample sale at the same time exceeds a certain threshold, a virtual line will form. We promise to keep the wait time as low as possible! You will know if you are in the line. Your screen will say “You are now waiting in line to get into the sale…” If you see this message, do not refresh your page. Once your wait time is up, there will be an audible bell tone alerting you that your wait is over. You will be automatically redirected to and able to shop the Sample Sale!

4. When I add an item to my cart, is it on hold for me?

No. Due to the high volume of orders, inventory and items in your cart will not be reserved. You must complete checkout and pay for your items. Item availability cannot be guaranteed until an order is placed and shipped.

5. When will my Sample Sale order ship?

We will not be offering free shipping during this sale and can't waive the shipping fee. Items purchased with our standard $5 flat-rate shipping method will ship via Lasership, USPS, or UPS Ground. Due to high order volume and limited employee availability due to the impact of COVID-19, shipments will be delayed up to 2-3 weeks and you may receive your order in multiple shipments. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

6. Can I return items from the Tuckernuck Private Online Sample Sale for exchange or store credit?

No, all sales are final. We will not accept any returns or exchanges on any Sample Sale item. Tuckernuck reserves the right to refuse any return.
