Sophie and all guests get their feet wet.
“ Prior to the rehearsal dinner, we took a sunset sail with the wedding party and family. The captain beached the catamaran in front of the rehearsal venue, and we made the guests get their feet a little wet (sorry)! As you can tell, I’m happiest when knee deep in the Caribbean Sea. ”
“ The seated dinner at Rhumb Lines was very low key. At this cute, Caribbean restaurant tucked away in a charming garden, we enjoyed tropical cocktails, fresh fish, and local flowers. ”

“ All my ladies got monogrammed Marigot nightshirts, a French basket, and a simple Asha gold bangle. I love gold bangles, and I wanted them to mix the piece in with their own jewelry. I still spot my bridesmaids wearings them! ”
“ I would often sail by this point growing up on the nearby island St. Thomas. Sometimes, there would be a wedding setting up, and I would secretly think to myself how beautiful it would be to get married here, just a boat ride away from home. In the distance, you can even see my neighborhood. ”
“ My dad is quite dapper, so I let him choose what to wear. He chose a full seersucker suit! The bridesmaids were all in custom wrap skirts, and the flower girls in adorable French linen hand-made dresses. They carried their flowers in French baskets. ”
“ Adam’s suit was custom made in D.C. by Read Wall, and his and the groomsmen’s ties are from my favorite tie company, Trumbull Rhodes. I can’t get enough Liberty of London. It must run through my veins... My mom’s bridesmaids wore Liberty dresses. ”

“ The reception took place in the Estate House, an open-air room with grand arches and stone walls. We took baskets and hung them upside down for makeshift lanterns. ”
“ After the reception, we all danced down to a nearby secluded beach for a silent disco. If you’ve never silent discoed, I’m not going to try to explai, but let me just say it was magical! We ended the festivities as we started them, knee-deep in the Caribbean Sea. ”
